Frequently Asked Questions about Young Rehabilitation
Q: Where are services provided?
A: The patients place of residence (i.e., home, board and care, assisted living facility).
Q: Does the patient have to be home bound?
A: No. We are not governed under Medicare Part A guidelines.
Q: How long can a patient be seen?
A: As long as deemed medically necessary.
Q: Does the patient have to pay anything?
A: No. Services are covered by Medicare Part B and Secondary Insurance.
Q: What is needed to begin service?
A: An order from a physician with a physical therapy diagnosis.
Q: Who can be seen?
A: Anyone not currently being treated under Medicare Part A services (i.e., home health agency or nursing home).
Q: Why see patients at home instead of a physical therapy clinic?
A: For many seniors, they spend most of their time at home. We want these seniors safe in their own environment. Seniors do not need heavy weight lifting machines. They need to know how to live healthy in and around their own homes. Also, many patients do not drive or find it difficult to go to a clinic. Treatment in their own home is ideal for a variety of patients.
